JAMES HAVENS | THE ARTIST

James Havens is an American artist working between Encinitas and Los Angeles. Trained at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, his practice spans four decades of painting and sculpture.

His work is held in museum, corporate and private collections.

He is the founder of HAVENS LOS ANGELES, a contemporary studio exploring the human figure. His current series, ARCHANGEL, considers light, fragility and transcendence through new figurative works.
